SanDisk lowers its stake in flash joint venture with Toshiba

Dreaming of better times, SanDisk has signed a deal to shed some of its participation in the flash memory joint venture it has with Toshiba. According to the newly-inked agreement between the two companies, SanDisk will transfer over 20% of the joint ventures' capacity, provided by two 300mm facilities - Fab 3 and Fab 4, to Toshiba.
