Telefónica breaks from Vivendi jv

Spain's main telco Telefónica has broken its joint-venture with Vivendi to buy Sogecable's pay-TV operator Digital+. And now Telefónica is reported to have begun conversations with Italy’s main media group Mediaset, which owns one of Spain's main private TV channels Telecinco.
