The U.S. Department of Justice has cleared AT&T Inc.'s $2.8 billion acquisition of Centennial Communications Corp., the carriers said Tuesday, Oct. 13. The DOJ is requiring the telecoms to divest operations in eight markets in Louisiana and Mississippi.
