After months of speculation, apparel maker Iconix Brand Group Inc. said Tuesday it will pay about $109 million for a 51% stake in struggling hip-hop designer Marc Ecko's portfolio of brands. Iconix, of New York, said it will form a joint venture with an affiliate of the sellers of Marc Ecko Enterprises, whose brands include Ecko Unlimited, Cut & Sew, Zoo York, Complex magazine, Complex.com, Ecko Red, Avirex and several licenses.
