Last week at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Dick Lynch, Verizon executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, announced that Verizon Wireless (a joint venture between Verizon and Vodafone) had chosen Alcatel-Lucent and Ericsson to build their fourth-generation network.
