We have heard a lot about a Android device called the Motorola DROID. Motorola has finally released a press release making the phone official. The phone will be the first phone to run Android 2.0, Google’s latest update to the Android operating system. It will also be the first phone with Google Maps Navigation, which gives turn by turn voice directions. The U.S. Department of Justice has cleared AT&T Inc.'s $2.8 billion acquisition of Centennial Communications Corp., the carriers said Tuesday, Oct. 13. The DOJ is requiring the telecoms to divest operations in eight markets in Louisiana and Mississippi.
